COMPLIANCE

Principle Lifting and Safety can help you ensure your lifting and height safety equipment is fully compliant with the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER) 1998 and the Provisions and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER) 1998. We can inspect, test and certify all your own equipment.

Certification
All lifting equipment must have a current “Report of Thorough Examination” when in use. Principle Lifting and Safety can inspect your equipment on site or at our premises. Ask us for advice on compliance and ensuring you remain compliant.

Inspections
You have the option to bring your equipment to our depot or arrange an on-site inspection. Our service ensures your equipment is safe to operate and remains compliant with current legislation in a cost effective manner with minimal disruption to your business. If any examination reveals the need for repair, we will provide a detailed quotation. If the repair of an item of equipment is not viable, or uneconomical, we can provide replacements at competitively priced rates.

Colour-Coding
As a customer, you can stipulate your own equipment colour-coding system at the time of inspection. Alternatively, PLS can introduce a colour-coding system to ensure your equipment is clearly distinguishable and ensure due dates for inspection and re-certification are prominent. Principle Lifting and Safety effectively monitor and maintain your stock of lifting and safety equipment in order to improve safe working practices and ensure compliance with current legislation.

Report of thorough Examination
When your equipment has passed inspection we will send you physical copies of your certificates. You will also have secure access to cloud-based copies of all your documentation.

Remaining Compliant
Principle Lifting and Safety will keep a comprehensive list of your equipment and contact you to schedule re-inspections as they become due.
